Ever wondered why people not get success in network marketing ,why so many people fail in network marketing? One of the aspects of the network marketing business most commonly overlooked by newbies is planning. Planning is crucial for every business; and with such a high rate of failure in network marketing, you’d better invest your time and efforts in thoroughly planning your business, or prepare to fail as well (if this is your business strategy). If failure is not an option for you, below I’ve laid out the six steps you can follow before you even join a network marketing company and start your business to get success in network marketing.
Step One: Plan Your network marketing Business
I’ve highlighted planning as the first step for you to take for the above mentioned reason – high rate of failure in network marketing. Consider taking a couple of hours in order to write a preliminary business plan for your network marketing business. A business without a plan is like a house without the foundation. If you have no business plan for your network marketing business, there is nothing you can build your business on, and you can not get success in network marketing .Step Two: Use Time Wisely
In order to get success in network marketing business, you have to allocate a certain number of hours that you will spend building it. Even if you only have one hour a day to spend building your network marketing business, plan this time to actually do the work. Plan how you’re going to spend this time and what specifically you’re going to do to get your business off the ground. Prioritize your tasks and allocate specific time to each one of them.Step Three: Identify Resources Available Now
In this step, you have to carefully look at the resources that you have to use in your business today. Of course, you have to start with yourself, because you are your most valuable resource. What’s your educational background? What’s your current occupation? What are the skills that you’ve acquired in the past years? What can you do that will immediately affect your business and today? How about books on business planning, running, and marketing? How about… Well, if you’re reading this, you must have a computer and internet access. They are part of your resources, or tools.
So, I guess you got the idea. Make an inventory of your resources and pick those you can use in your business today.
Step Four: Set Your Business Goals
If you have no specific goals for your business, your business has no future. Without specific goals your business will resemble an iceberg drifting in the ocean. Set concrete goals: short-, mid-, and long-term. What do you want to achieve in one year, three, five years?Your goals have to be as specific as possible. “To build a team of ten producing distributors in one year”. Your goals have to have a specific deadline. “Achieve $5,000 in personal product sales by such and such date.” Your goals have to be measurable in order for you to project steps for their achievement. Your goals have to be real and reasonable. Don’t overestimate your abilities and resources. It’s important to plan in advance which business activities you’re going to be involved personally and which of them you’re going to outsource (if you have money to do that as a beginner in network marketing).
Step Five: Assessment of Results
In Step Five you will have to figure out how you’re going to assess, or evaluate your results. What will you consider success and failure? You should be able to realize what works in your business activities and what doesn’t.You should eliminate or minimize activities that are time-consuming and least effective. Depending on your goals, the measure of your success has also to be specific, such as a dollar amount, a sales volume, or a team growth by a certain number of distributors.
