Living the “Right” goal in multi level marketing

Living the “right” goal in multi level marketing is as important and having a business plan in place. But what is the “right” goal? You’ll find it out in a minute.

In the meantime, I’d like you to think of as many instances as you can when strangers approached you offering a business opportunity – one in a lifetime. How many times did they show to you pictures of exotic places, luxury cars, and sumptuous houses by presenting them as a goal – YOUR goal?

Wrong goal for the Wrong People

Every multi level marketing company that I know of sells this goal through their distributors. Most of them don’t realize that selling that type of goal is wrong for many reasons. The main reason is it’s a wrong goal to sell.

Most people don’t associate themselves with a million dollars. Most people don’t know what a million dollars look like. Most people simply want their daily needs met. And once they’re met and met securely for years to come, then they can think of goaling of luxuries.

For most people who join multi level marketing, the goal is to send their kids to college, to pay off their mortgage, to put their daily bread on the table, and to have financial security. Luxury is not the same as financial security. So, most network marketers sell the wrong goal to the wrong people.

Stop Living the Wrong goal

Putting your goals in writing in your multi level marketing business plan is the second step in planning your business. But if you write down the wrong goal – a goal that was fed to you – it may result in a huge failure and frustration.

You probably heard the statement, “You should goal big.” But who defines what big is for you? Only you know how big your goal is. And only you can define how big it should be.

Living the Right goal is Living YOUR goal

Don’t allow anyone to goal big for you. In fact, the goal that your MLM company’s selling to you, is the goal of the company’s bosses. I’m not saying that you can’t make millions of dollars. I’m not saying that luxurious houses and a lavish lifestyle is something you can’t pursue. You can. But only if you can associate yourself with such a goal.

My point here is that more down-to-earth goals are big enough for most people who suffer from unemployment, disability, or haven’t saved enough and have to work after they retire. Would you care about a vacation on an exotic island if your kids didn’t have good quality food every day? Would you care about a luxury car if you were in debt and the IRS was after you? Or would you care about a mansion with an indoor pool if your beat-down car broke down every month and you couldn’t afford to buy a new one?

Only you can define and start living YOUR goal today. And I guarantee you the goal you’ll write down today is big enough to be worth pursuing. If your goal is to simply add $500 monthly to your current income, it’s big enough. Once you’ve achieved your goal, keep goaling.

Setting a goal is not an event. It’s a process. Who said you can’t goal big after a goal of yours is achieved? You can have as many goals as you want. And every time your goals will be bigger, guaranteed!

What’s your BIG goal today? What’s the BIG goal in your current circumstances?

No goal is too small; every goal is worth pursuing.

Now i will tell you guys how to set your goal for mlm business.there are 5 main Characteristics of Goals for Your multi level marketing Business.
goals in your multi level marketing business is key for your success. But not all goals are created equal. In this post, I’ll tell you about 5 characteristics of goals you need to set for your multi level marketing business. Setting goals is the first step in planning your multi level marketing business for success.

There are three types of goals that you need to set: Personal, financial, and business goals. And you need to set them for three terms: short-term, mid-term, and long-term.
Short-term goals are set for a period between 6 months and one year. Mid-term goals are set for a period of up to 3 years. And long-term goals are those for up to 5 years.

Nobody starts a business for the sake of starting a business. If you want to start your own multi level marketing business, there are at least two reasons behind your want – financial and personal. Financial, because your want to make money. Personal, because you want to make a goal of yours a reality using the money you’ll make. As for a business goal, of course, you’ll want your business to grow in order to keep financing your goal(s).

Therefore, set your personal, financial, and business goals based on the S.M.A.R.T. characteristics. That’s right, your goals should not only reflect how ambitious you are, but also how S.M.A.R.T. they are. Each of three types of goals you set have all the S.M.A.R.T. characteristics. Your goals must be:

Specific
Measurable
Attainable
Realistic
Timely

Specific

Make your goals as specific as possible. To specify a personal goal, you can write down something like “Pay off my credit card debt of $2,000 within one year.” Is it specific? Yes. You’ve specified what your goal is – pay off credit card debt; you’ve specified the amount – $2,000; and you’ve specified the time period – one year.

Measurable

To set a measurable goal means your goal should be measured in an applicable unit – currency amount; time/term (days, months, years, etc.); volume; etc. The above example also meets this criterion. It shows a dollar amount and time period.

Attainable

Attainable means that, under given circumstances, you have necessary tools, means, motivation and a plan of action, and desire to work the plan in order to reach your goal.

Realistic

Your goals should be real and realistic. If you think of multi level marketing as a turn-key, push-button, we’ll-do-everything-for-you type of business, you run a risk of setting unrealistic goals. You can’t become a millionaire in multi level marketing in three months as some of the “gurus” lie to you.

multi level marketing is not a lucky lottery ticket. There’s hard work involved. So, make your goals real and realistic. Take into account your abilities, skills, talents, experience, circumstances, tools and means. Plan to walk before you run. Making your first a hundred bucks is more realistic and motivating than hoping to make a million dollars in your sleep. That’s not how it works.

Timely or Time-Bound

A goal is timely means that you set deadlines by which you plan to achieve your goals. That’s why I mentioned the terms above. A short-term goal is already time-bound – six months to one year. So are the mid-term and long-term goals. You can be as specific as you want. You can set a specific date by which you want to achieve your goal(s).

So, when setting your goals, be as specific as possible. Make sure you know the signs that will show that your goals are achieved (or not yet). Do not reach for the stars. The moon is closer (figuratively speaking). Make your goals achievable, real, and realistic. All in all, let your goals reflect your ability to achieve them and you’ll be on the right track to move to the next step in writing a business plan for your multi level marketing business.

Thank you
